TUMAKURU: A car accident on the Tumkur-Tiptur Highway near Shivasanadra Gate in Guibbi taluk turned deadly when the vehicle caught fire after hitting a road divider.
The car, driven by Manjunath from Hassan, was heading towards Tumkur when the crash occurred. Manjunath miraculously escaped unharmed, but the car was completely gutted in the fire. Firefighters responded quickly to extinguish the flames, and police are investigating the incident.
The cause of the accident is believed to be loss of control by the driver, leading to the collision with the divider. A case has been registered at Guibbi police station.
