CHIKKAMAGALUR: A car caught fire in front of the district hospital here while transporting a patient, on Tuesday morning. However, the occupants were safe.
The fire was seen in the engine compartment and engulfed the front of the car. Locals doused the flames using water and a fire extinguisher. The occupants escaped unharmed, thanks to the ambulance drivers who quickly evacuated them.
