BENGALURU: ‘Padavi Poorva’, as the title suggests, is a wholesome campus story. Back when it released in theatres in the end of 2022, it received praise as it successfully managed to transport audiences to their college days. The youngsters in the hall felt like their life was being portrayed on screen. The slice-of-life flick is now streaming on Sun Next.
Pruthvi Shamanur and Anjali Anish are in the lead star cast of the film. The movie is directed by Hariprasad Jayanna, who has worked as an assistant director with Yogaraj Bhat, has turned an independent director with this film. His mentor Yogaraj Bhat has produced it along with Ravi Shamanur.
Meanwhile, ‘Padavi Poorva’ garnered a lot of acclaim for its camera work by cinematographer Santhosh Rai Pathaje. The film’s music is by ace Arjun Janya, whose tunes have come for a lot of praise for evoking nostalgia.
Yasha Shivakumar, Rangayana Raghu, Sharat Lohithashwa have acted in supporting roles and the movie has cameos by Aditi Prabhudeva, Divya Uruduga, Shree Mahadev and others.
