BENGALURU: A cab driver assaulted a BMTC bus driver and conductor and used abusive language claiming that the bus had touched his vehicle in a road rage incident at RK Hegde Nagar under Sampigehalli police station limits.
The BMTC bus driver Nagesh and conductor Kenchappa were assaulted by the accused Narasimhaiah. The incident occurred around 11.30 am on Tuesday when the bus was travelling from Shivajinagar to Yelahanka.
The cab driver, claiming the bus had touched his vehicle, chased it for about a kilometre and created a ruckus with the driver and conductor, then assaulted the driver and even asked him to stop the bus. Passengers captured the incident on their mobile phones.
The Sampigehalli police have registered a case and taken the accused into custody.
