BENGALURU: The Byadarahalli police have arrested five accused in Sondekoppa for smashing windscreens of vehicles and robbing truckers. The accused Likhith, Jayanth and others were arrested for vandalizing cars and causing trouble in the area.
According to reports, a local resident had previously advised the accused to behave, which they seemingly ignored, leading to the recent incidents of vandalism. The Byadarahalli police have taken the accused into custody and are further investigating the matter.
The accused have multiple cases registered against them in several stations including one case in Byadarahalli, six in Annapoorneshwari Nagar, three in Madanayakanahalli and three in Doddaballapur station. They face a total of 28 cases, including robbery.
