BENGALURU: A bus shelter near the MS Ramaiah hospital traffic signal has mysteriously been shifted by about 60 metres overnight on Sunday night, allegedly by some pivate individuals, after cutting some trees on the footpath.
It is said that no permission was sought either from the BBMP or the police to shift the bus shelter. Only a metal bench remains at the original site of the bus shelter. The issue was orally informed to officials before shifting it, sources said.
The bus shelter was close to the hospital and college and bus commuters who arrived on Monday were surprised that it was missing from its original spot and had been moved some distance away. No official reaction was forthcoming so far.
