VIJAYAPURA: A Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporaton (KKRTC) bus ploughed into some houses and hit a parked three-wheeler at Hiremurala village in Muddebihal taluk on Wednesday morning after its steering rod got cut. Luckily, none of the bus passengers or the occupants of the houses were hurt.
The bus was plying between Muddebihal and Nalatawad when the incident occurred. On seeing the bus coming in their direction, the occupants of the houses and their neighbours ran for safety.
The bus belongs to the Muddebihal depot of KKRTC. A case has been registered at the Muddebihal police station.
