BENGALURU: The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) has directed residents to hand over waste to garbage autorickshaw, which now come near homes at 5.30 am, an hour earlier than the previous schedule. Despite this, many Bengaluru residents continue to neglect handing over waste to these autos.
Hence, the Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Corporation has decided to issue notices to households that fail to provide waste to the auto in the morning. The corporation will now handle the disposal of construction debris, with the cost borne by the building owners.
It aims to streamline waste management in the city, ensuring that waste is collected and disposed of properly.
