CHITRADURGA: A 12-year-old boy was electrocuted to death while trying to rescue a pigeon stuck on an electricity pole at Hanumanapura village in Molakalmuru taluk in the district. The deceased, identified as Ramachandra, was studying in Class 5.
The incident took place when the boy climbed an electricity pole to rescue a pigeon stuck on the pole, but he came in contact with a live wire and died on the spot. The Rampura police are investigating the case.
