BENGALURU: For the second time in a week, the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) received a bomb threat by email. However, a thorough search revealed it to be a hoax.

The email, received by the airport security, said it was not right to execute Ajmal Kasab, who was involved in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, and claimed that two bombs had been planted like a puzzle.

The email said the bombs had been planted in the pipelines in the washroom and claimed that if Plan A fails, Plan B would be activated. After a search, the Kempegowda Airport police registered a case against the sender of the email. Further investigation is under way.
