BENGALURU: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), which had reduced fares for its Vajra Volvo services in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, has restored the old fares with effect from Thursday (January 5, 2023).
During the pandemic, when work-from-home had become the norm, the transport utility, which was plying more Volvo buses towards the IT/BT corridors, had diverted them to other routes and reduced fares by 35 per cent to attract more passengers.

- Monthly pass increased from Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,800
- Daily pass raised from Rs 100 to Rs 120
