BENGALURU: A heated argument broke out between a pedestrian and a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) conductor near Yeshwanthpur signal over trivial reasons.

The conductor has denied allegations of road rage.

The pedestrian alleged that the conductor shouted at him from the bus and abused him using foul language. He also claimed that the conductor got down from the bus, held him by the shirt collar and pulled him on the road.

However, the conductor denied the allegations, stating that the pedestrian abused them in vulgar language. So he got down from the bus and questioned him. The pedestrian was walking on the road while talking on the phone despite a warning sign board, showing that ‘Pedestrians are not allowed to walk where buses are moving’.

The conductor clarified that he asked the pedestrian to walk on the side but the pedestrian started abusing him. The conductor denied any physical altercation or road rage.
