BENGALURU: A moving BMTC bus caught fire suddenly near Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road on Tuesday morning. The bus was carrying about 30 passengers and luckily, all of them are safe.
Firefighters fought hard to put out the blaze, but the bus was completely charred. The bus was on its way from Rose Garden to Shivajinagar when the fire broke out.

According to the bus driver and conductor, fire was first seen in the engine compartment and they got all the passengers to disembark the bus. Traffic was affected on MG Road for some time due to the incident.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel managed to douse the fire and allowed free traffic movement. The BMTC’s mechanics too arrived on the scene and were examining the bus to pinpoint the cause of the fire.
