BELAGAVI: Belagavi strongman and BJP leader Ramesh Jarkiholi on Tuesday said the party will come back to power in the state even if it wins lesser than the required number of seats.
Speaking at a programme to launch development works in Gokak, Jarkiholi said the Congress will not come to power and added that the party’s leaders are only blowing hot air. “The BJP will come back to power and we will ensure that by whatever means possible”, he said.
Addressing the crowd, he said even if the BJP gets a few seats less than required in the Assembly polls, they will somehow manage the numbers and form the government. On speculation that he will quit the BJP, Jarkiholi said, “For no reason will I quit the party. I will stay here and create history”.
