MANGALURU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Nalin Kumar Kateel will stay away from the party’s ‘Jan Sankalp Yatra’ and other public programmes for 10 days as he is undergoing medical treatment.

Kateel posted on Twitter saying, “Various activities of the party, including the BJP Sankalp Yatra state tour, are going on successfully under the guidance of the BJP leaders. On the suggestion of the physician, I will not be able to actively participate in any of the programmes due to ongoing medical treatment. I will return to party and constituency work at the earliest possible time.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Karnataka November 11 to launch several projects, including flagging off the first Vande Bharat Express in South India and inaugurating the second terminal of Kempegowda International Airport. Modi will address the public during his visit.
