While Aravind Limbavali's wife Manjula will contest from Mahadevapura, Katta Subramanya's son Katta Jagadish will contest from Hebbal.

BENGALURU: The Savadi-Shettar factor may have come as a blessing in disguise for Mahadevapura MLA Aravind Limbavali and senior leader Katta Subramanya Naidu of the BJP.

Following the exit of Laxman Savadi and Jagadish Shettar, the BJP seems to have opted to give tickets to Limbavali’s wife and Naidu’s son to control any further damage. In the case of Savadi, the damage had already been done and in Shettar case, he was given an offer of central ministry, which he refused.

Following these developments, the BJP high command got a report from Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who is in charge of the Karnataka Assembly election, and decided to change its strategy.

The senior leadership then held talks with Aravind Limbavali, Katta Subramanya Naidu and Karadi Sanganna and convinced them to work for the success of the party after assuring them of tickets for their family members.
