BENGALURU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC and state president of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, on Monday lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta on Monday seeking an investigation into alleged instances of corruption during the Congress regime in the state.

“They are making allegations without any proof and carrying out a misinformation campaign about 40 per cent commission. We have lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the Congress. We have proof for the allegations we are making, but they don’t have any. They have not been able to produce any proof so far.

(BJP) state president of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, addressing reporters on Monday.

“Under the TenderSURE works in 2013-14, the Congress government released 53.86 pc in excess than the tender amount in at least 10-12 cases. In other cases, too they have taken 20-30 per cent kickbacks. They can only make allegations, but don’t have the courage to lodge a complaint agaisnt us. I challenge Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar to lodge a complaint against us. Otherwise, people will teach them a lesson”, he said.

“There were 65 case agaisnt Siddaramaiah, but he closed down the Lokayukt. and got out of 10 cases by handing them over to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). We want all the remaining 50 cases against him to be investigated. Just like Alibaba and the 40 Thieves, Siddaramaiah ran a government with his 40 thieves. He is no Harischandra, but speaks like that”, Narayanaswamy charged.
