TUMAKURU: The kingpin of the multi-crore Bitcoin scam, Sriki a.k.a Sri Krishna, and two others have been granted bail by the 1st additional civil and JMFC court. The other two who secured bail are Ramesh and Robin Khandelwal.
The court granted bail as per the Supreme Court directive as there was a delay in filing of the chargesheet against them. The police had not filed the chargesheet within 60 days after completion of the investigation. The case relates to online cheating of a Tumakuru businessman.
Judge N Subramanya granted bail to Sriki on a bond of Rs 50,000 and one surety and to Robin Khandelwal on a bond of Rs 25,000 and one surety.
