Bike taxi rider assaulted by auto driver in Bagalur

BENGALURU: A bike taxi rider was assaulted by an autorickshaw driver near Bagalur Cross on Friday night.

The incident occurred when the bike taxi rider, who had picked up a passenger, was stopped by 3-4 auto drivers. They picked an argument with the bike rider in abusive language over picking up a passenger.

The bike taxi rider was stopped and assaulted after being abused. The bike passenger recorded the incident and posted the video on social media, tagging the police.

In the video, it can be seen that the bike taxi rider is answering calmly to the auto drivers’ queries about his work. Then an auto driver raised his voice against him and started an argument. The automen said the government has banned bike taxis. The bike rider was trying to convince them and got off the bike when an auto driver slapped him and used abusive language.
