BENGALURU: A Bihar native was arrested for the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl at Hoysala Nagar in Ramamurthy Nagar on Monday night. The accused was identified as Abhishek Kumar. The accused raped and killed the girl where he was working as a security guard.
On Monday night, some Bihar natives caught the accused and thrashed Abhishek Kumar before he was handed over to the police. On Tuesday, hundreds of angry locals staged a protest in front of the police station and demanded that the accused be handed over to them. Sensing trouble, the police resorted to mild caning to disperse the crowd.
