BIDAR: A Bidar youth gave the UK parliament a taste of Kannada when he recited the ‘Ivanyarava’ Vachana by 12th century reformer Basavanna during the England leadership competiton.
Adhish Rajinish Wali, son of Dr Rajinish Wali, is the only Indian competitor at the leadership competition. Adhish read out the vachana and explained its significance to the audience, drawing praise from Kannadigas at home and abroad.
Earlier, during the convocation at his institution, Adhish, a member of the London Youth Council, had held up the Kannada flag. He is a resident of Mohan Market in the city.
