BIDAR: A 19-year-old youth died after drowning at a private swimming pool near the Shri Kshetra Jharni Narasimha Temple here.The deceased was identified as Syed Afan, a resident of Abdul Faiz dargah Colony.
The youth had gone to the swimming pool with his friends and sustained serious injury on the back of his head while diving into the water. He drowned in the water and died.
The family members have alleged that there were no safety equipment or swimming instructors at the pool and accused the management of negligence. The Market police have registered a case against the pool owner Dr Vaijinath Madana and are investigating further.
