BIDAR: The city police carried out a major operation and recovered stolen articles worth Rs 12 lakh and seized them.
Various cases of theft were registered in Bhalki, Mehkar and Humnabad police stations. The police have cracked 11 cases of theft and recovered stolen items, including gold, silver articiles, two-wheelers and a buffalo.
Of the recoveries, 11 gm of silver and 1 gm of gold ornaments and 10 two-wheelers stolen in Telangana from a temple.
The Mehkar station police who cracked recovered a buffallo worth Rs 7 lakh. Police said that they have arrested five persons in connection with the incident.
