BENGALURU: Power utility Bescom has shifted a high-tension line which was passing over 35 houses in Cholanayakanahalli, after Public TV reported about the potential danger to the families living there.
A few days ago, Public TV had reported about a high-tension power line passing over more than 35 houses in Cholanayakanahalli in Tavarekare hobli in Bengaluru.
After the report was broadcast, Bescom officials at Tavarakere acted quickly and shifted the high-tension line. Venkatamma one of the residents over whose house the power line was passing, said she was in constant fear of her life. Now, all 35 households in Cholanayakanahalli have heaved a sigh of relief.
