BENGALURU: Rural areas coming under the jurisdiction of the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd (Bescom) will face interruption in services for three days from January 30 to February 1 due to upgradation of software.
The power utility is adopting a new software for billing, new connections and other online services. In view of this, services will be affected in seven districts serviced by Bescom. However, there will be no effect in Bengaluru Urban district.
The Bescom has sought the cooperation of consumers in the rural areas for the upgradation of its services.
