BENGALURU: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd (Bescom) has issued a notice K C General Hospital in Malleswaram, warning about disconnection of power supply as the December electricity bill of Rs 38,42,539 is due and asking the hospital authorities to settle it before January 25. If the bill isĀ not paid within given time, the Bescom will cut power supply without intimation, the notice warned.
The hospital has such a huge outstanding on power bills as it has not been paid for the last two months due to lack of funding from the government. The accounts department has promised funds soon and we will receive it in two-three days. We have never had such a problem before.
