BENGALURU: A woman techie was fined Rs 1,000 for negligence as she was seen with her laptop on the steering wheel even as she was driving, in North Bengaluru. A video of the incident was shared by the Bengaluru North (traffic) DCP Siri Gowri D R on X.

The traffic police, from their handle @DCPTrNorthBCP, posted a video of the woman techie saying, “Work from home, not from car while driving”. After the video went viral, the police managed to track down the woman techie. The post also had a picture of the woman being challaned for reckless driving, but the identity of the car driver was not revealed.
