Bengaluru traffic policemen to compulsorily wear caps while on duty

BENGALURU: Henceforth, traffic policemen will not be allowed to discharge their duties without wearing caps. Joint Commissioner of Police (traffic) M N Anuchet has issued an order that traffic police must wear caps while on duty.

The order comes after a video of a traffic constable not wearing a cap while on duty near Hebbal went viral on social media.

Additionally, the order also states that traffic police personnel should not sit on their motorcycles while on duty. The order has been sent to all traffic police stations in the city.
