BENGALURU: Bengalureans are experiencing cold weather in the morning and evening with fog late at night from many days now. This time, winter has set in earlier, making it even colder.
According to the weatherman, the minimun temperature in Bengaluru temperature could drop to 12 degrees Celsius in the coming days. The city is already experiencing cold weather, and it will get even colder in December and January due to the La Nina effect.
In the Pacific Ocean, the surface temperature is lower than usual, indicating the La Niña effect. This process usually occurs between November and December. The warming phase of the sea surface temperature is known as “El Niño” and the cooling phase as “La Niña”.
This time, the state experienced more rainfall than usual which has led to an early winter. The India Meteorological Department has predicted a significant drop in temperature, making this winter one of the coldest in recent years. Bengaluru, known for its cool climate, will experience even colder temperatures.
