BENGALURU: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested psychiatrist Nagaraju for his alleged links to terror groups. Nagaraju was not only linked to T Nasir, but was also a favourite doctor among all the accused in the Parappana Agrahara prison. He was liked, not for his work as a doctor, but for his smartness and taking risks.
Nagaraj’s family, including his mother, wife, and children, reside in Chintamani and he would visit them occasionally. Nagaraj’s wife is a government official. Nagaraj is the son of Srinivas and Salamma and his family originally hails from Mandya district.

There is also a suspicion that Nagaraju would sell these mobile phones at exorbitant prices, selling a Rs 10,000 mobile phone for Rs 40,000. Nagaraju’s role is not limited to helping Nasir; he also assisted other accused in the prison.
