BENGALURU: In light of the orange alert for rain in Bengaluru issued by the Indian Meteorological Department, due to continuous rainfall in Bengaluru for the past four days.
As a precautionary measure, Bengaluru’s Deputy Commissioner has declared a holiday for anganwadi centers, government, private and aided primary and high schools on Wednesday.
However, degree colleges, post-graduation, diploma, engineering, and ITI institutions will remain open. The decision was taken considering the safety and well-being of students. An official order was issued on Tuesday evening.
