Bengaluru court allows Darshan, Pavithra to travel outside city, next hearing on Feb 25

BENGALURU: Actor Darshan and his friend Pavithra Gowda, who are out on bail in the Renukaswamy murder case, have been allowed by a city court to travel outside Bengaluru and Karnataka. The two, along with other accused were produced before the 57th CCH court on Friday amid police security.

Darshan’s lawyers sought permission for him to travel to Mysuru between January 12 and January 17. This means, he will spend Sankranti in Mysuru. Pavithra’s lawyers sought the court’s permission visit to Mumbai and Delhi in connection with business and to visit temples for one month.

As per the bail conditions set by the Karnataka high court, the accused cannot travel outside Bengaluru without court permission. They are also required to present themselves before the trial court every month. On December 13 last year, the high court had granted regular bail to seen of the 17 accused.

Meanwhile, all the 17 accused in the case, including Pavithra Gowda, Pradosh and Darshan, were produced before the court on Friday. While Pavithra and Pradosh arrived first, Darshan arrived later. Further hearing will take place on February 25. Darshan and Pavithra exited the court together and then went in separate vehicles.
