BENGALURU: Motorists using the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) road are complaining about the high toll and are demanding a reducing the toll fee. Vehicle users say this high toll is a burden and have sought a reduction.
The toll plaza near Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport is collecting the highest toll. The toll plaza, located near Sadahalli, has collected a whopping Rs 308 crore in the financial year ending 2024.
A campaign has been launched to protest against the exorbitant toll. Entrepreneur Mohandas Pai has taken to the social media platform X to express his outrage and demanded a reduction in toll rates.
Many have extended their support to the campaign, alleging that the toll operator collects heavy toll from motorists. The state government has been urged to intervene and address the issue.
