BELAGAVI: A Youth Congress leader has been booked for a provocative social media post. The accused is Muzammil Attar, Youth Congress general secretary of Belagavi city district and resident of Azad Nagar.
Muzammil posted pictures of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan on Instagram with a caption which read, ‘Baap Hai tumhare bhulna mat’ with the background score ‘Jwala Si Jalti Hai…’ from the movie Agnipath.
As soon as a case was registered against him, Muzammil deleted the post. The Market police have registered a case under Section 192 of BNS and taken up further investigation.
