BENGALURU: In a bid to provide relief to commuters during monsoon, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to use Ecofix technology to fill potholes on the city’s roads.

The BBMP had earlier used the hot mix to fill potholes quickly. Now, it has decided to use Ecofix, a new technology that uses a mixture of natural materials, to fill potholes.

The Ecofix technology is an eco-friendly method and it has been successfully tested on several roads in the city. The technology uses a mixture of soil, gravel and other natural materials to fill potholes, and it is said to be more durable than the traditional methods of filling potholes.
