BENGALURU: The BBMP is on high alert in Bengaluru following the detection of the HMP virus among two children in the city. Hospitals under BBMP have been instructed to collect samples of patients with symptoms of respiratory illnesses.
The BBMP officials have issued guidelines for hospitals to test for symptoms of respiratory issues like cough, cold, and fever, especially in children. Tests will also be conducted for HMPV, but will not be mandatory.
