BENGALURU: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has claimed that there were 4,614 potholes across the city and that it has filled 4,613 of them.
The civic body is speeding up work to fill potholes across the city. Out of the 4,613 potholes which are filled, 3,995 are within BBMP limits and 619 are outside. The BBMP will fill 3,287 potholes, while other departments like BWSSB, BESCOM, GAIL, Metro and National Highways will take care of the rest.
The BBMP and other departments are working together to fill the potholes within a specified period. During rainy seasons, cold mix and ecofix will be used to fill potholes, while hot mix will be used during dry weather.
