MADIKERI: A bank employee was killed in a head-on collision between two bikes at Ammatti village of Virajpet taluk in Kodagu district last night.
The deceased has been identifies as Amrita (24). She was hailed from Thrissur in Kerala and was working at the Canara Bank branch at Ammatti.
Amrita sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Mysuru, but breathed her last without responding to the treatment. A case has been registered in Virajpet Rural police station in this regard.
