HUBBALLI: A bank cashier killed on the spot in a hit-and-run incident near Shivalli village in Dharwad district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Basavaraj, a cashier at Bank of Baroda in Moraba village, residing at Hubballi. He was going to Hubballi on his motorcycle after work when he was hit by a car and died at the spot due to severe head injury.
On receiving information, the police visited the spot. They have managed to identify the registration number of the car and are on the lookout for the driver.
