Band Stand at Lalbagh collapses, no repairs done yet

BENGALURU: The state government and the Horticulture Department have been neglecting the iconic Glass House and Band Stand in Lalbagh, a popular tourist destination in Bengaluru. The Band Stand, which was built during the British era, has collapsed, and now they have tied them together using ropes and wooden supports to prevent it from collapsing further.

The Horticulture Department has been accused of neglecting the structure, which is a symbol of Lalbagh’s beauty. Citizens say that the state government and the Horticulture Department should take responsibility for the neglect of the Band Stand and take immediate action to restore it.

The Band Stand is a major attraction in Lalbagh and is visited by tourists from all over the world. It is a matter of shame for the state government and the Horticulture Department that it is now in a sorry state. The department has found some temporary solutions.

The tourists and locals are expressing their disappointment and anger over the negligence of the Band Stand. The Horticulture Department should take immediate action to repair and restore the structure to its original glory, they insisted.

Kusuma, the deputy director of the Horticulture Department, has assured that the Band Stand will be repaired and restored soon.
