HUBBALLI: Bajrang Dal activists have alleged that Christians are forcibly converting Hindus to Christianity in private homes at Kusugal village in Hubballi. The Bajrang Dal workers uncovered the conversion racket after checking a Christian prayer hall in the village.
The groups claim that around 60-70 people, including children from Kopal and Kundagol, are being taken to these homes for conversion. The alleged conversions are reportedly happening in Hindu homes, sparking tensions. Bajrang Dal workers claim that Christian missionaries are targeting Hindu families and coercing them into converting to Christianity.
The police have registered a case against 15 individuals involved in the alleged forced conversions, including Madan Bugudi, accused of pressuring people to leave Hinduism and convert to Christianity. Similar incidents have been reported in other parts of Karnataka, with some Hindu groups demanding an anti-conversion law to prevent alleged forced conversions.
