BENGALURU: An autorickshaw was crushed between a school bus and a lorry on Hosur Main Road near Kudlu Gate in Anekal on Sunday night. Despite the severe impact, the auto driver miraculously escaped death with minor injuries.
The incident occurred when the school bus driver suddenly applied brakes and the autorickshaw driver behind him also braked abruptly. However, the lorry driver behind the autorickshaw failed to brake in time and crashed into it, crushing the auto between the bus and the lorry.
Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the driver from the wreckage. The auto was completely mangled, but the driver’s miraculous escape has left many stunned.
It is alleged that the lorry driver was distracted by his phone, watching reels while driving, which led to the accident.
