BALLARI: A controversy has erupted after aspirants were asked to remove their earrings, nose rings, sacred threads, and bangles before entering the KSET exam hall in Ballari on Sunday. Some aspirants expressed their dissatisfaction with this move, but ultimately complied with the rules to write the exam.
After the exam, the aspirants expressed their disappointment with the authorities and staff for making them remove their earrings and nose rings. Despite their dissatisfaction, they inevitably appeared for the exam.

The KSET exam was conducted at 20 exam centres across Ballari from 10 am to 1 pm. The district deputy commissioner had ordered the closure of photocopy centers and internet cafes around the exam centers to prevent any potential malpractices.
