Artist offers free tattoos in Kannada

BENGALURU: A tattoo artist in the city offered free Kannada tattoos to his customers at Swagath Tattoo Studios in Rajajinagar, on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. The artist says he does it to show his love for Kannada.

Tattoos of PM Narendra Modi, actors Yash and Upendra are very popular.

Shankar Badi, the tattoo artist, offered free Kannada tattoos to his customers at his studio on Tuesday. The customers got their ‘Kannadiga’ tattoos to display their love for the language. Tattoos are quite popular among the young crowd.

“I have been in this field for the past seven years, and for the last four years, on Kannada Rajyotsava day, I have been offering free Kannada tattoos to my customers. I love Kannada language and its culture. This is my way of showing my love for Kannada. I have been inspired by Puneeth Rajkumar’s social service. I am doing it for the love of the language. Tattoos of PM Modi, and actors Yash and Upendra had gone viral. They called me and appreciated my work”, said Shankar Badi.
