BAGALKOT: With increasing cases of theft, a group of women have come together to patrol the streets at night, at Jayanagar in Mudhol town. Of late, there have been an increase in the number of theft cases in Mudhol.
The women, armed with sticks, are doing the rounds of the locality at night and say they are ready to lend a hand to the police in curbing crimes. Residents of the locality had even thrashed two men recently on suspicion of theft.
