BELAGAVI: The seer of the Arabhavi Math in Gokak taluk, Siddalinga Swami (48) died after suffering a heart attack on Monday.
The seer had suffered a sever heart attack when he was at the math and was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Gokak. However, he did not survive.
The math has a large number of devotees not only in Karnataka, but in other states too. Only learning about the death of Siddalinga Swamy, the heads of various other maths and dignitaries arrived at the math and the last rites in their presence with all religious rituals.
