MADIKERI: Any organisation that promotes terrorism and disrupts peace in society will be banned, said Congress Legislative Council B K Hariprasad.
Speaking to media persons in Madikeri on Tuesday, he sad that if any organisations causes unrest in the state and encourages terrorism, it can be banned from the state. “Whether it is the Popular Front of India (PFI) or Bajrang Dal, we will ban any organisation which disrupts peace in the country and supports terrorism. Our country is a peaceful garden for all communities. But some people are trying to disturbing the peace here”, he said.
“Amit Shah and others are campaigning for the state elections, but the BJP has never got a clear majority in the state. Even across the country, they have a clear majority in only three states. In all the remaining states, the government is buying MLAs and indulding in horse trading. The Congress party will not do politics based on religion”, Hariprasad countered the BJP.
