BENGALURU: Christmas is just a few days away, and the festive spirit is already building up in the city. As part of the Christmas celebrations, a cake show opened on Friday at Tripura Vasini in Palace Grounds.
The 51st edition of the biggest cake show ever is being organised by the NCF Institute of Baking and Cake Arts. The exhibition will run from until January 4.
This time there are various cakes that will capture children’s attention — Kantara’s Panjurli Daiva cake, the Puri Jagannath Temple cake, Royal Dream Castle, Velankani Church and many more. For the first time in the world, all the cakes are being prepared using laser‑cutting technology.
Mohammed Faruq, a visitor said, “We have been visiting the show for 25 years. There is a church, the Taj Mahal, and a Kantara character. After seeing all these arts with meaning, it shows unity in diversity and harmony. Children enjoy cartoons. The organizers have given importance to all small arts”.
