Ambulance staffer refuses to shift man injured in road accident to hospital

The villagers took the ambulance driver to task for not taking injured person to hospital.

RAMANAGAR: An anmbulance staffer refused to take an injured person to hospital as he did not have anyone to accompany him. The incident occurred near  Thittamaranahalli in Channapatna taluk late on Tuesday night.

The ambulance staff refused to carry the injured person as he had no one to accompany him.

An unidentified person had met with an accident near the village, and locals called for an ambulance. The vehicle arrived, but the staffer refused to shift the injured to a hospital as he had no one to accompany him. The ambulance staff returned, leaving the injured person on the road.

The unidentified person, who was injured, was left lying on the road.

Villagers were outraged by the negligence of the staff and they took the staff to task. Later, some friends of the injured person arrived at the spot and shifted him to a private hospital.

The villagers have demanded the health authorities to act against the ambulance staff for their negligence.
