BENGALURU: The Subramanya Nagar police will submit a report regarding the late-night party at Jetlag pub, wherein several celebrities were present, to the City police commissioner today.
An FIR under the Excise and Karnataka Police Acts was registered at the Subrahmanya Nagar police station after the bar continued to serve liquor to celebrity guests on January 3 night. Following the police investigation into alleged violation of rules, the Jetlag pub has been closed for 25 days for the sale of liquor.
The police have issued a notice to the pub owners asking them to provide CCTV footage of the night of January 3. Actors Dolly Dhananjay, Neenasam Sathish, Chikkanna, director Tarun Sudhir and music director Harikrishna, who attended the party, have also been issued notices, and statements have been obtained from the actors regarding the incident.
The police are now preparing to submit a report to the Commissioner of Police after naming as witnesses all the actors and other celebrities who attended the late-night party.
